Distribution of Food and Medication for the Needy

We The Alfred Ebong Foundation For the Needy Kumba branch visited this family. The Mukata family in Kosala Kumba. They are a family with many challenges, the senior sister is blind, she was hit by a branch of a tree when she went family, this is the cause of her blindness. The brother in White shirt has a wound (ulcer) on His thigh. He also needs assistance from the foundation. The brother also has a broken leg, with a bandage on it. When we(Alfred Ebong foundation) visited them, they were given the following food items:

  • A bag of Rice 25kg
  • 7 sachets of Tomatoes
  • 3 washing soaps
  • 5 cups of salts
  • A pack of seasoning Cubes(Maggi Cubes)
  • 1.5 liters of ground oil
  • 10 sachets of detergents

They were very grateful and appreciated everything.
He is an adult Male by age, physically challenged and a handicap with much physically disabilities.
This is Ashu Daniel, He is an adult male by age, physically challenged and a handicap with much physical disabilities. He is from the South West Region of Cameroon precisely from Mamfe, Manyu division. He received some food items from the Alfred Ebong foundation as follows:

  • 1bag of Rice 25kg
  • 3 Washing soaps (Savon)
  • 1.5liters of ground oil
  • 5 cups of salt
  • 10 Sachets of washing detergents
  • 7 Sachets of tomatoes paste
  • 1 packet of seasoning Cubes (Maggi Cubes)

They were so thankful, especially the old mother who takes care of him. They blessed the foundation and everyone involved.
This is Mama Mary, an internally Displaced person, because of the war in the South West and North West Regions of Cameroon.
This is Mama Mary, an internally Displaced person, because of the war in the South West and North West Regions of Cameroon.She is abandoned by her children. We met her so hungry and in ill health. She was so happy to receive us. She even added much words of encouragement and prayers. She said non has ever helped her, that she has never received help from nobody in her entire life. She was so happy.

The Alfred Ebong foundation gave her the following stuffs:

  • 1 bag of rice 25kg
  • 1.5 liters of ground oil
  • 5 cups of salts
  • 10 Sachets of washing detergents
  • 7 Sachets of tomatoes paste
  • 3 washing soaps
  • 1 packet of seasoning Cubes (Maggi Cubes)

Mama Mary was so happy and relieved. She even added that, l will no longer die of hunger.
 Mr Ngalla Edwin is a youth , living in the Kosala neighborhood of Kumba.

He was shot by the military on a bike with a friend, but unfortunately the friend died but he was injured on the thigh. His bone is broken.He was operated upon to remove the bullets remains.As you can see it left him with a wound, which needs attention. When the foundation members visited him, he was given additional medical assistance and some other stuffs as follows:

  • 1bag of Rice 25kg
  • 5 cups of salts
  • 3 washing soaps
  • 1.5liters of ground oil
  • 10 Sachets of washing detergents
  • 1packet of seasoning Cubes
  • 7 Sachets of tomatoes paste

For his wounds he was given the following first aid kit,

  • 4 bandages
  • 1bottle of Betadine lotion for cleaning
  • 1bottle of Banocine powder for dressing
  • 1packet of Diclofenac tablets for his pains
  • 1 tube of Deep heat rub, for swollen leg
  • 1packet of paracetamol
  • 1packet (roll) of plaster for dressing
  • 1packet of b-complex
  • 1packet of Omeprazole for gastritis.

He was so happy for the kind gesture from the Alfred Ebong foundation.
He even said that he had never dreamed about this huge assistance.
Food and Health care to Madam Leontine by Kumba Branch
This is madam Leontine, she is an internally Displaced person from Matoh Brutu, in the South West Region of Cameroon. She stays with her daughter and grandson in a dilapidated house, where she can not fend for herself. She is a widow and her home was burnt down due to the Anglophone crisis. Worst of all she is having Ulcers on her both legs for more than 3years now. We met her in great pains and agony. Part of her roof was removed by the Landlord because she couldn't pay her Rents. She burst into tears of Joy as the Alfred Ebong foundation for the needy visited her. She was overwhelmed with joy.

She gladly received from us the following items:

  • 1 bag of Rice 25kgs
  • 5 cups of salts
  • 3 Washing soaps.
  • 1.5 liters of groundnut oil
  • 10 Sachets of washing detergents
  • 1 packet of seasoning Cubes
  • 7 Sachets of tomatoes

For her wounds, she received the following medical assistance,

  • 4 bandages
  • 1 bottle of Betadine lotion
  • 1 bottle of Baneocin powder
  • 1 packet of Diclofenac tablets
  • 1 packet of paracetamol
  • 1 packet of plaster
  • 1 packet of b-complex tablets
  • 1 packet of Omeprazole tablets for gastritis
  • 1 tube of Deep heat Rub
